Editorial standards
Our catalogue is built for adults who want clearly organized Hindi and Desi fiction. These standards explain how stories are selected, reviewed, corrected, and removed.
What we publish
We publish fictional stories intended only for readers aged 18 or older. Every depicted participant must be an adult. Submissions are reviewed for basic completeness, readability, catalogue fit, duplication, unsafe markup, and compliance with our policies before publication.
Originality and useful editing
Titles, descriptions, and story text should add something distinct to the catalogue. We use similarity checks to identify repeated templates and near-duplicate submissions. Editors may correct formatting, spelling, navigation, metadata, and internal links without changing the core meaning of a story.
Writers and attribution
Writer pages identify an individual contributor or an editorial organization. A verified badge means the profile was reviewed by the site team; it is not an endorsement of every claim or viewpoint. Stories without a named contributor may be attributed to the Indian Stories Team.
Automation and AI-assisted material
Automation may assist with formatting, moderation, duplicate detection, summaries, or metadata. It does not replace editorial review. Material that is repetitive, misleading, incoherent, or substantially duplicative may be held for review, revised, excluded from search indexing, or removed.
Corrections and updates
We correct material errors when they are reported or found. Significant updates change the page modification date. Slug changes use permanent redirects where possible so readers and search engines do not reach broken links.
Reports, removal, and rights
Use the contact form for corrections, attribution questions, or policy concerns. Copyright and record-keeping requests are handled through our DMCA and 2257 information. Include the exact page URL and enough detail for the team to investigate.
Privacy and reader safety
We minimize unnecessary personal data, sanitize submitted HTML, and moderate public interactions. External safety and consent resources are available on our resources page.
